I am excited to announce the completion of a journey and my designation as a "LEADer Master Practitioner". Through this process, I gained so much insight and met many wonderful folks involved in the economic development world.
The LEADer Master Practitioner Certificate program is facilitated through the Louisiana Economic Alliance for Development (LEAD) in conjunction with McNeese State University. The program establishes a standard of excellence for professional readiness in economic development. Designed for working practitioners, the certificate program provides a structured and accessible pathway to build core competencies, expand applied knowledge, and align with nationally recognized industry standards. Below is a list of the courses taken.
Basic Economic Development Course (BEDC), Business Marketing & Attraction, Business Retention & Expansion, Real Estate Development & Reuse, Workforce Development Strategies, Managing an Economic Development Organization, and Economic Development Strategic Planning.
