When Mayor Evans took office in 2023, he began to form the concept of "Main Street 2030". The focus of Main Street 2030 is to create a city center with Sullivan Road being the focus and creating a main street feel. This project will help create a "downtown" feel for the City of Central and utilize existing land to help with flood control. Since 2023, several concepts for this project have bee created.
